MISSION CONTINUES AMID COVID-19

In addition to our direct one-on-one mentoring by members of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta and Emerging 100 of Atlanta, we have modified our programming as follows:

  • Implemented 2020 COVID-19 Programmatic Response to address programmatic modifications due to disruptions caused by COVID-19;
  • Host 4 virtual Saturday Schools per month with an average of 80 students per session where students receive Math and English instruction as well as character development programming;
  • Conduct 2 Gender-based Virtual Mentoring sessions per week to address the social and emotional needs of our students;
  • Virtually impact a combined total of approximately 100 students per week through 100 Scholars Robotics Alliance program;
  • Host Virtual Parent Meetings once per month to keep students college-bound;
  • Celebrated the academic achievements of our 2020 Graduates from Project Success, BEST Academy, and Collegiate 100 featuring Dr. Eric Thomas, rated by many as the No. 1 motivational speaker in the world, to offer words of encouragement to our students;
  • Facilitated several career paths and civic engagements virtual summits i.e., Ahmad Arbery: Justice After Tragedy, Processing the Pandemic and Preparing for What’s Next; and Legal Career Paths and The Future of Law;
  • Collaborated with The Mabra Firm, Protiviti Inc., and Goodr to Feed 100 Families of Four.
