Violence Prevention Symposium

On Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. will host a Violence Prevention Symposium at Clark Atlanta University. We would be honored if you would attend as our guest.

The Violence Prevention Symposium was initiated by 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. who have made significant, nationally recognized strides in Violence Prevention work. Our Conflict Resolution training programs, headed by our member and Anti-Gun Violence Committee Chair Joshua Byrd, have been featured in multiple media outlets, including national TV networks like CBS https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gun-violence-atlanta/

This effort has positioned 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc. as a national recognized resource for Violence Prevention. As a continuation of our efforts, we have collaborated with The Satcher Health Leadership Institute, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change to deliver a full day program that focuses on how to reduce gun violence, create awareness, and offer alternative solutions.

We hope that you can join us for this historic occasion.
