The 100 Scholars Robotics Alliance is designed to inspire elementary, middle and high school student interest in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. This program exposes students to in-demand skill sets such as project management, programming and data analysis, and teaches them how to operate within high performing teams.
Through our robotics program, we strive to reach students of color in at-risk communities and help them realize they can achieve professional success in STEM fields they may otherwise never have considered.
The 100 BMOA supports over 4,000 students from underserved communities across 10 cities in Georgia at the Johnson STEM Activity Center, a 20,000-square-foot STEM innovation center located just outside downtown Atlanta. The Johnson STEM Activity Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization started by Dr. Lonnie Johnson in 2007.
Our robotics teams have competed at the city, regional and national levels.
